Coconut Toffee
1 lb sugar 1/4 liter milk 5 ozs desiccated coconut
Dissolve sugar together with milk on a slow fire and continue boiling for
about 7 minutes (until it sets when dropped in cold water). Remove from
fire and add desiccated coconut, stirring well. Add coloring and turn on
to a greased thali.
