In order to achieve communal harmony, it would help us a lot, for us to understand the joys and sorrows of our fellowmen, with whom we live everyday.   Ignorance breeds misunderstanding, and misunderstanding may build anger, and anger may lead to undesirable actions and unhappiness.    All because we had no time to understand others with whom we are bound to co-exist.

  • RELIGION

Religion is the adherence to codified beliefs and rituals that generally involve a faith in a spiritual nature and a study of inherited ancestral traditions, knowledge and wisdom related to understanding human life. The term "religion" refers to both the personal practices related to faith as well as to the larger shared systems of belief.

Narrow mindedness, makes one look inside, and builds fears of those who are not like you.  This gave rise to Clans, Tribes and other Communities, primarily to safeguard the ineterets of their  own, and taboos, kept them away from knowing their neighbour.  This is a natural tendency, but we have made a big noise about it.

In a modern multicultural world, this is not helpful.  The mind should be open to know when and why this world became so
claustrophobic .    Knowing your neighbor is the beginning of mutual harmony and understanding.    Ultimately, we will know, we are no different than our neighbor, and our convictions and beliefs often coincide, but we are not aware of them.  This ignorance is worked upon to divide and rule, and who are the losers and who are the gainers ?   Thlink about it.

  • Health Portals

Health is the level of functional or metabolic efficiency of a living organism. In humans it is the ability of individuals or communities to adapt and self-manage when facing physical, mental or social challenges. The most widely accepted definition of good health is that of the World Health Organization Constitution. It states: "health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and is not merely the absence of disease or infirmity" (World Health Organization, 1946). In more recent years, this statement has been amplified to include the ability to lead a "socially and economically productive life." The WHO definition is not without criticism, mainly that it is much too broad.

The most solid aspects of wellness that fit firmly in the realm of medicine are environmental health, nutrition, disease prevention, and public health. These matters can be investigated at length and can assist in measuring well-being. Please see our medical disclaimer for cautions about Wikipedia's limitations.
