Method
Soak Rajma overnight. Wash and boil in the pressure cooker, with sufficient water. With the Rajma also add 1 teaspoon chilly powder and 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder and salt to taste. Close the lid and boil for about 5 - 7 minutes.
In a wok, heat cooking oil, and 1 teaspoon jeera. Add minced onions and sauté till they turn translucent. Add ginger garlic paste and sauté well. Add the chopped tomatoes and sauté. Add one teaspoon chilly powder and one teaspoon gram masala powder and fry till the oil separates. Add the boiled Rajma with its water and simmer till it is almost dry. Add sugar to taste and the chopped coriander and mint leaves and simmer for another five minutes.
