1000 Grams Tomatoes Choose good ripe tomatoes
750 Ml. Vinegar  
5 Grams Turmeric Powder Grind with vinegar
50 Grams Ginger (Adhrak) Grind with vinegar
50 Grams Plums Grind with vinegar
3 Piece Cinnamon (Dalchini) Grind with vinegar
3 Nos. Cloves (Lavang) Grind with vinegar
10 Nos. Pepper Corns Grind with vinegar
10 Large Chillies Red Dry Grind with vinegar
400 Grams Sugar, Table Grind with vinegar
30 Grams Salt  

Method

Choose good ripe tomatoes, and cut them up, and boil without water.  Keep down and cool them and squeeze them and strain them.   Spread the pulp on a coarse cloth,   Collect the juice in a vessel.,

Grind the masala with vinegar, and mix it with the pulp, juice  and the sugar, and boil the same till the material turns thick.   Cook on slow fire for a long time, till the pulp turns out like a sauce.  When cooled, bottle it and use it as you need.
