Ingredients

Quantity Measure Ingredients Description:
2 Nos. Coconuts - fresh. Extract thick and thin juice
1 Kilogram Dhal, Moong Wash and boil
600 Grams Jaggery Add kto boiling dhal with thin juice
  Little Salt Add to the boiling dhal
1 Teacup Flour, Rice Raw Rice flour. Mix with the boiling dhal
1 Pinch Cardamom Powder Add with the thick coconut juice

Method:

Scrape the coconuts and grind them, and extract the thick and thin juice. Wash the dhal and boil it in a little after till soft add to it the jaggery, the thin coconut juice and salt. Then mix rice flour with sufficient water make a batter. Add this to the Vorn, stir and do not allow the flour to become a lump. Boil well till flour is cooked and the Vorn is thick to the required consistency. Lastly add thick juice and cardamom powder. Keep it down after boiling for ten minutes. The dhal can be boiled in thin coconut juice instead of water.
