Ingredients

Quantity Measure  Ingredient Description
15 Slices Bread, White Remove sides, Soak and mash.
1 Liter Milk For Khir preparation
1 Tablespoon Almonds For Khir preparation
1 Tablespoon Plums For Khir preparation
5 Tablespoon Sugar For Khir preparation
1/2 Teaspoon Cardamom Powder For Khir preparation
1 Tablespoon Pista For Khir preparation

Method

Take as many slices of bread you need, remove the crust and soak the bread for 15 minutes in water, and then remove the water by squeezing the bread.   Mash it to a pulp.   Pick the plums and cut them to small bits, blanch the almonds and pistas and cut them in bits.

Dilute half a liter of milk in half s liter of water and cook the bread mash with sugar for some time.   Add the almonds, pistas and plums and the cardamom powder.   Add the other half liter of milk and simmer for a little time, or till it comes to a boil.  Then put the stove off, and allow to cool.   If it is too thick, add more milk.
