Pomfret in Masala

Quantity Measure Ingredients Description:
1 Nos. Pompfret - White Clean, wash and marinate in salt
1 Salt-Spoon Salt  
3 Tablespoon Cooking Oil Heat oil
2 Small Onions Slice and fry
6 Medium Chillies Green Slit and add to seasoning
3 Flakes/Cloves Garlic (Lason, Losun) Slit and add to seasoning
1 Inch Ginger (Adhrak) Slit and add to seasoning
1 Medium Tomatoes Add
Half Teacup Coconut Milk - Thick Add


Cut the fish into small pieces 
Marinate the fish with salt and keep aside for 20 minutes 
Heat the oil, and fry the onions till golden brown 
Add ginger-garlic-green chillies paste and stir for a minute 
Add tomatoes and simmer for 2 minutes 
Add the grounded paste and simmer for 1 minute Add little water and let it boil for 2 minutes 
Add coconut milk and when it starts boiling add the marinated pieces 
Let it cook till done 
Serve hot with rice
