Ingredients

Quantity Measure Ingredients Description:
10 Slices White Bread Cut the bread diagonally
3 Teaspoon Flour, Gram /Chana Ata Mix the flours
1 Teacup Flour, Rice Mix the flours
1 Pinch Baking Powder Mix with the flours
2 Teaspoon Chilly Powder, Red Mix with the flours
  As Required Salt Mix with the flours
  As Required Cooking Oil For frying.

Method

1. Cut the bread diagonally. Take the crust away if you prefer so.
2. Mix besan and rice flour with water adding chilli powder, salt, baking soda. It should'nt be too thick or thin, bread slice should be well coated.
3. Dip the slice in batter and fry in hot oil until brown.
4. Serve hot with ketchup, ginger chutney or any chutney.

Note:

Deep frying can retain excess oil which may be harmful to some, so please strain all the oil with a perforated ladle.
