Ingredients

Quantity Measure Ingredients Description:
1 Teacup Dhal, Masoor Wash and boil
2 Nos. Onions Sliced, for boiling and tempering
2 Piece Ginger (Adhrak) Smash
4 Nos. Pepper Corns Crush
3 Teacup Water For boiling
2 Tablespoon Ghee For tempering
  As Required Salt To Taste

Method

Wash and  pressure cook the dhal  with one sliced onion, smashed ginger and crushed  pepper corns in water.   When dhal is soft, remove it and strain it.    

Temper this with 2 spoons of ghee and a sliced onion.    Add salt to taste.   

Can add other vegetables as well when boiling the dhal.
