Quantity Measure Ingredients Description
2 Teacup Dhal, Tur Clean and Wash and boil
100 Grams Vegetables, general Cut and Wash amd npo;
A Little Mustard Seed (Sarson) for seasoning
100 Grams Potatoes Cut and Wash amd npo;
A Little Tamarind Grind with masala
A Quarter Coconut (Narial) Grind with masala
6 Nos. Chillies Red Dry Grind with masala
2 Nos. Onions Grind with masala
1 Teaspoon Turmeric/Haldi Grind with masala
1 Teaspoon Jeera (Cumin Seeds) Grind with masala
2 Tablespoon Coriander(Dhania) Grind with masala
6 Flakes/Cloves Garlic (Lason, Losun) Grind with masala
A Little Salt to taste
A Little Ghee for seasoning
A Few Curry Leaves (Kadi patta) for seasoning

 

Method

Clean and wash the dhal,.   Wash the vegetables and potatoes  and. cut     In a little water boil the dhal and vegetables.  

Grind all the masala to a fine paste and add it to the cooked dhal and vegetables.
 
Add salt to taste.  

Temper with ghee, mustard or curry leaves.
