Ingredients

Quantity Measure Ingredients Description:
400 Grams Suran cooking type clean, cut and boil
1/2 Tablespoon Dhal, Chana Boil - optional
4 Nos. Chillies Red Dry Grind
1 Tablespoon Coriander(Dhania) piece Grind
1/2 Teaspoon Jeera (Cumin Seeds) Grind
1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder Grind
1/2 Ball Tamarind Grind
1 Tablespoon Cooking Oil to taste.
1/2 Teaspoon Mustard Seed (Sarson) for seasoning
1 Small Onion Sliced, for seasoning
A Little Salt  
1 Small Coconut (Narial) for Garnishing

Method

Remove the rind of the suran and cut into small pieces. And wash.   Boil in two cups of water till well cooked.   f desired, you may add the dhal or chauli peas when the suran is boiling.

Grind the roasted masala with the tamarind.   Add the masala to the cooked vegetable.

Season with mustard seeds and sliced onions.   in hot oil    Garnish with the flakes of coconut.
