6 Medium Potatoes Pare and cut in round slices
1 Salt-Spoon Salt Sprinkle of potato slices
1 Teacup Water Mix gram flour and curry powders
0.75 Teacup Flour, Gram /Chana Ata Mix gram flour and curry powders
2 Teaspoon Chilly Powder, Red Mix gram flour and curry powders
1 Salt-Spoon Turmeric Powder Mix gram flour and curry powders
5 Tablespoon Cooking Oil For frying potato slices dipped in batter

Method

Pare the potatoes, and cut them into round slices, wash them and keep them aside, Put a little salt over them, and roll the slices in it, and the water will ooze out.

In the meantime, in one tea cup of water, mix the gram flour, and the curry powders and form a paste.

When the water from the potatoes is removed, and they are dried with a towel, dip the slices in the gram paste, in a little deep plate, and then fry them in a flat frying pan, in hot oil. When fried on both sides, remove the slices, and drain the oil on a basket lined with paper towels.

You can also pare a large onion, and cut it in round slices, and fry them in the same oil, and serve with the potatoes.
