Quantity Measure: Ingredient Description:
1 Tablespoon Sugar
1 Tablespoon Cooking Oil
Quarter Teaspoon Jeera/Cumin Seeds
4 Pinch Asafetida (Hing)
Quarter Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
1 Teaspoon Ginger finely chopped
1 Pinch Salt to taste
2 Ball Tamarind finger sized, chopped fine.
1 Medium Onion finely slivered
4 Medium Karela de-bittered, boiled
Method:
After de-bittering gourds, boiling till tender, but not mushy. Slice thinly into finger length pieces.
Heat oil in heavy pan, add cumin, asafetida, allow to splutter. Add ginger, garlic, chillies, stir fry for a minutes. Add onions, saut
