Ingredients

Quantity Measure Ingredients Description
100 Grammes Dried Shrimps (Galmbi) Broil the shrimps
4 Nos Chillies, Red Dry+ Grind
1 Inch Turmeric/Haldi Grind
1 Teaspoon Jeera/Cumin Seeds Grind
A Little Tamarind Grind
A Little Salt Add to taste
1 Nos Coconut - fresh. Scrape and mix
3 Tablespoon Cooking Oil Fry
1 Medium Onion Slice and fry

Method:

Broil the shrimps on a thawa, stirring all the while. Pour them on a board or flat thali, press them with a piece of cloth in hand. Remove and clean all the burnt up parts, etc. Grind chillies, turmeric, Jeera etc to a paste, then add the shrimps and mix well. Then add the scraped coconut and mix. Grind in a mixer slightly,  till the ingredients blend.

Heat oil in a flat frying pan and  fry one sliced onion, then add to it, the chutney. Simmer for five minutes. Do not allow to burn. stir continually.
