Quantity Measure Ingredients Description:
Half Kilogram Rice, Boiled (ukda chawal) Wash and soak the rice, and grind
0.5 Kilogram Rice, Raw Wash and soak the rice, and grind
1 Nos. Coconut (Narial) Grind with reice
400 Grams Jaggery Grind with reice
A Little Salt Grind with reice

Method

Wash and soak the rice, and grind it with the coconut juice, jaggery and a little salt to taste. If the dough is a little liquid, slightly warm it so that it turns dry. Make marble shaped balls of the dough, and fry them in a deep frying pan, in cooking oil. Remove the fried balls, with a perforated ladle, and keep aside on a wicker basket, lined with paper kitchen towels. They should turn out as deep brown hard balls.
