Ingredients

 
Quantity Measure Number Ingredients Number Description:
6 Tablespoon Milk Powder heaped spoons
2 Tablespoon Flour, Maida - (Refined) heaped spoon
1/4 Teaspoon Baking Soda  
1, 1/2 Teaspoon Ghee for kneading
  As Required Water for kneading
2 Teacup Sugar, Table for syrup
2 Teacup Water for syrup
1 Teaspoon Kesar (Saffron)  

Method

Dissovle the sugar and water and add some rose water or cardamoms to the water and bring to a boil.  Simmer for two minutes and keep aside to cool.   

Knead the milk powder, maida and baking soda with a little ghee and a little water.    Form into balls, a little larger than marbles and deep fry on a very slow fire.   Immerse imm ediately into the cooled syrup.
