Ingredients

500 Grams Potatoes boiled, peeled and mashed
1 Teacup Corn Flour Or wheat flour.
1 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder  
1 Teaspoon Chilly Powder, Red  
1 Pinch Hing - Asafoetida  
1 Teaspoon Salt  
1 Teaspoon Lime Juice  
  As Required Cooking Oil for frying

Method

Mix the boiled potatoes, cornflour, turmeric powderi, red chillyi powder, salt,  Asafoetida and lime juicei into a dough like consistency.

Fill the mixture into a sev press [shevgo] similar to a  cookie press, fitted with the finely perforated disk.

Heat the oil till a little bit of mixture thrown in comes up at once.

Press the mixture directly into the heated oil and fry till golden.

Drain on absorbent paper, cool  and serve with a sauce.
