Method
Boil the sugar and make a syrup. Grate and grind the coconut and extract the juice. Beat egg yolks well and keep on adding the coconut milk gradually, as also the flour - soon by spoon. A thick batter will be formed; when the sugar syrup is cold, add to the above batter, stirring constantly. Warm the ghee in a vessel. Pour over some batter and bake, then add more batter pour warm ghee and bake, and repeat this about seven times. Seven layers are required.
