| 200 | Grammes | Barley, Pearl | Wash and soak. |
| 100 | Grammes | Potatoes | Boil. |
| 1 | Medium | Onions | sliced |
| 1 | Teaspoon | Pepper Powder | Add |
| Half | Teaspoon | Salt | Add |
| 1-1/2 | Teacup | Vegetable White Stock |
Method
Wash required quantity of pearl barley, and soak for half an hour.
Boil it with any vegetable, or white stock Recipe No.446 for about one hour.
Strain.
Temper with ghee and sliced onion, and add some pepper powder and salt to taste.
