Monitor with 800X600 resolution.
Internet connection OR CD-ROM drive (for installation).
256MB RAM recommended (128 MB may be sufficient in older Windows operating

NotePad for Macintosh®
G4 or higher recommended.
(NotePad 2007 runs natively in Intel-based Macs.)
OS 10.3.9 and higher.

You have first to log on to the Finale website. Click here: http://www.finalemusic.com/notepad
You will see this page after you have clicked the above link. Windows or Macintosh are platforms which your computer may be using. If it is Windows, click on the word "Windows" and it will open another screen.
If your email has been registered at Finale then use it and give the password which was given first by finale in the email they will have sent you. If you are not registered then click on "Create Account" and the new page will appear as follows.
Enter you email address, where you generally receive your mail. Select from the list the Country where you live. and click "Continue" Note this paragraph:
We will email you your Password. Once you receive your password via e-mail, log in again and enter it on the next screen to continue with your NotePad download. You may change your password the next time you login to our Site.
Continue the process after you have received the password and enter it here, and you will get the new screen as follows where you give details for a Survey:
Submit it and download the program by logging again, and this time with your approved password and the screen opens as follows:
Note the Serial Number in a safe place and click Download Notepad 2007 for Windows.
The program will load automatically and get stored in your program files in the C drive. You will have an icon on your disk top. You will be automatically able to open all finale files which you will download from my website and be able to HEAR, PLAY, READ, SAVE AND PRINT them with ease.
You will also be able to compose and write your music as you learn.
You will be surprised what you can do ! Do not hesitate. If you have difficulties, write to Finale and if your email is registered they will help you
