Method
Clean and cut the fish into small pieces. The fish should be without bones. Sprinkle salt, pepper and turmeric powder over it and keep it for a while then boil in a little water or steam it.
Peel the cucumber and cut into thin round slices, sprinkle a little salt.. Keep aside, and after a while when the water has oozed, remove the water.
Slice the onions, tomatoes, green chillies, and ginger and cut fine coriander leaves.
In a salad dish arrange layer of onion rings and sprinkle salt and vinegar then spread sliced green chillies and ginger, then arrange alternately a layer of fish pieces, cucumber slices and tomato slices.
Repeat the same till all the quantity is arranged.
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves, or with some mayonnaise. Or any other salad dressing and salad oil.
