Vegetable Bechamel Sauce

Quantity Measure Ingredients Description:
1 Piece Pumpkin, White-Green Pare and cut in pieces
2 Medium Potatoes Pare and cut in pieces
1 Piece Cinnamon (Dalchini) Crush
4 Nos. Cloves (Lavang) Crush
6 Nos. Pepper Corns Crush
1 Pinch Nutmeg powder Add
1 Medium Onion Mince
1 Piece Ginger (Adhrak) Mince
a Few Mint Leaves (Pudina)  
2 Teacup Water  
1 Tablespoon Butter  
1 Teacup Milk  
  As Required Salt to taste


Pare and cut pumpkin and potatoes.  Crush, cinnamon, cloves and pepper corns.  Slice, onions, ginger and mint leaves.  

 Boil all in 2 cups of water, till the contents are soft and mash them with a ladle, and continue to boil.   Strain the soup.  

In a sauce pan, heat the butter, and pour in it the milk, and simmer, then add the pulp liquid.

Add salt to taste and serve.
