Mixed Vegetables Curry

Quantity Measure Ingredients Description:
100 Grams Dhal, Chana Boil
100 Grams Brinjals - black shiny -(Baingan) cut
100 Grams Carrots (Gajar) Scrape and cut
100 Grams Pumpkin, White-Green Pare and cut
400 Grams Sweet Potatoes Scrape and cut
100 Grams Green Peas (Matar) Boil
1 Bundles Chowli Beans/Alsande "Sango" Remove fibres and cut
400 Grams Potatoes Scrape, and cut
1 Nos. Coconut (Narial) Grind
1 Medium Onion Grind
6 Flakes/Cloves Garlic (Lason, Losun) Grind
0.5 Teaspoon Aniseed (Suwa, Shopa) Gtind.
4 Nos. Pepper Corns Grind
3 Nos. Cloves (Lavang) Grind
1 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder Grind
1 Teaspoon Kuskus - poppy seeds Grind
2 Teaspoon Coriander(Dhania) Grind
1 Teaspoon Jeera (Cumin Seeds) Grind
1 Ball Tamarind small ball Grind
3 Nos. Chillies Red Dry Grind
2 Tablespoon Cooking Oil For Seasoning
A Handful Curry Leaves (Kadi patta) For seasoning
2 Salt-Spoon Salt to taste.


Scrape and cut all the vegetables, and wash. Pick and wash the dhal.   Boil in three cups of water.   All vegetables and dhal.   Grind the masala.  Season with oil and curry leaves.   Add cooked vegetables, masala water and cook for fifteen minutes.  Add salt to taste.
