| 1 | Teacup | Flour, Maida - (American Pillsbury) |

| 1 | Teacup | Water |
Method
Mix water, sugar and flour. Add one cup of Dalda* and cook, stirring all the time. Gradually, add little by little rest of the Dalda, and stir. When the mixture and Dalda start to separate, form the mixture in a ball, and spread on a greased thali, and flatten it. Sprinkle blanched and sliced almonds and cardamom powder. When cooled, cut it into 12 pieces.
*Dalda is a branded vegetable fat, available in India. You can use any solid vegetable shortening.
