The second book, introduces notes beyond Sol. In different exercises, we take one note higher in each case, and you can learn to read and sing these notes. You will thus get yourself, ready to read the notes of a given hymn fully.
The recording is not professional, and is done in a hostile environment, for which I want you to excuse me, as this is my intention to help. You can use a keyboard, or a guitar to guide yourself the the correct sounds, and practice the notes. Eventually, you will get the association of the names of the notes on the stave and their sounds. Conversely, you will soon be able to write the notes of the music that is in your mind.
