Ingredients

Quantity Measure Ingredients Description
250 Grams Surmai Cut in flat slices
1 Teaspoon Ginger Garlic Paste For masala paste
2-3 Small Onions For masala paste
1/4 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder For masala paste
1 Teaspoon Chilly Powder, Red For masala paste
  As Required Salt to taste For masala paste
  As Required Cooking Oil For frying

Method

1. Wash and cut the fish in slices.
2. Grind in a mixer and prepare a thick paste of onion,   1 teaspoon of the ginger galic paste,  turmeric powder, red chili powder and salt, don’t add too much water .
3. Now apply the above paste over the fish .
4. Leave it for ½ an hour.
5.Shallow fry it on a pan in a low flame until it turns golden brown.
6.Fry it on both the sides, your fish fry is ready to serve…..
Note: For added flavor just squeeze a little lemon over the fish and serve it hot, with Little onion slices which is sprinkled with little lemon juice and salt.
