Ingredients

Quantity Measure Ingredients
1 units Cinnamon
6 Flakes Cloves (spice)
6 Nos Guavas
A Little Kesar/Saffron
2 Teacup Sugar
2 Teacup Water

Method

Wash six large guavas, halve them and boil in 2 cups of water till they become soft. Take out the guavas from the water, and keep tem aside. Put 2 tablespoons of sugar, 6 cloves, one stick of cinnamon, and boil, till it becomes a light syrup. Add a little more water if needed. Then add the guavas. A little Kesar, dissolved in water may be added. Serve in a dish with the syrup. Other fruits like "jaradaloos", apples, etc can be used instead of guavas.
