Til. Dried fruits of the sesame plant. Native to India, it is probably the oldest known plant for its seed use. In India these seeds are used in some sweets. Sesame seed paste is sometimes added to flavor and thicken the spicy curries. Sesame seed oil is used as a cooking oil in some parts of the countries.For better flavor slightly roast the sesame seeds in a dry pan until they jump.
