Dry Shrimp (Galmbi) Chutney

1NosCoconut - fresh.Scrape and mix
3TablespoonCooking OilFry
1MediumOnionSlice and fry

Method:

Broil the shrimps on a thawa, stirring all the while. Pour them on a board or flat thali, press them with a piece of cloth in hand. Remove and clean all the burnt up parts, etc. Grind chillies, turmeric, Jeera etc to a paste, then add the shrimps and mix well. Then add the scraped coconut and mix. Grind in a mixer slightly,  till the ingredients blend.

Heat oil in a flat frying pan and  fry one sliced onion, then add to it, the chutney. Simmer for five minutes. Do not allow to burn. stir continually.
