Sweet Mutton

Ingredients

 
Quantity: Measure: Ingredients: Description:
2 Tablespoon Ghee  
1 Tablespoon Sugar, White  
1 Tablespoon Plums For ground masala
1 Piece Liquorice (Mita lakdi) For ground masala
1 Piece Turmeric/Haldi For ground masala
1 Tablespoon Coriander/Dhania For ground masala
1 Teaspoon Mustard Seed For ground masala
1 Teaspoon Jeera/Cumin Seeds For ground masala
1 Small Coconut Copra For ground masala
400 Grams Mutton  
1 Medium Onion Sliced, for tempering
  As Required Salt to taste

Method

Cut and wash the meat and boil it in a little water.
Grind the masala.
Heat ghee in a vessel, and fry the sliced onion.  Add the ground masala and stir fry till it turns brown.   Add masala water, used for washing the mixer.
Add the boiled mutton, and the gravy that came out when boiling it.
Allow it to thicken, and add salt to taste.   Simmer another five minutes, till you get a sufficiently thick curry.
