Method
Clean and cut the chicken, and crush the cloves, cinnamon, pepper corns and slice the onion, and boil for one hour. Strain, and temper the soup in ghee and 1/2 sliced onion. Remove the meat and fry it separately in a frying pan, and serve with sauce.
The soup may be served with toast or bread.
