Method
Remove the skin of the green plantain, with a knife, and slice them lengthwise, and put them immediately in cold water, or else, they will turn black, as they contain iron. When the slicing is done, drain the water, and wash them again, and then apply salt, and keep it for fifteen minutes.
Keep cooking oil for frying in a frying pan, heat it up, and fry them on both sides.
Make a batter of maida or gram flour and water. Dip the slices in the batter and fry in oil or ghee, as an alternative choice.
