ALittleSalt 
800GrammesSurancooking type
1BallTamarind 
1unitsTurmeric/Haldi 

Method

Remove the rind of the suran and cut into small pieces. And wash. Boil in two cups of water till well cooked.

Grind the roasted masala with the tamarind. Add the masala to the cooked vegetable.

Season with oil and sliced onions. If desired, you may add the dhal or chauli peas when the suran is boiling.
