Method
Boil the potatoes, and remove the skins, and then mash them into pulp. Mince the ingredients kept for that purpose. In a little ghee, brown the onions, chillies and ginger. Mix the mashed potatoes, and sprinkle the pepper and garam masala powders and add the salt. Mix all well and blend.
Spread the mash in a pie dish, and cover it with the matter of chana ata. Bake till it turns brown.
