Method:
Soak half kilogram of chana dhal, in water for one hour. Pressure cook it (should not be over cooked). Heat the oil, and add the mustard seed and the minced garlic. Sauté the garlic for a little while, add the masala powders, then add the chana dhal with its water and simmer, till the water dries up.
