2NosChillies, Green
2TablespoonGhee
1TeaspoonMustard Seed
1TeaspoonAsafetida (Hing)

Method:

Wash beans, break them into half inch pieces, after removing the fiber from the sides. Pare the potatoes and cut them into small cubes. Wash the tomatoes and cut them also in small cubes.

Cut the onions and chillies fine mince.

Heat the ghee in the vessel you are going to use for cooking the beans. First fry the mustard, and when it stops spluttering, add asafetida, stir and fry. Then add all the beans, and minced masala and salt to taste, and cook in its own gravy. If you keep water in a metal plate and place it on top of the vessel, the steam will be retained in the vessel, and cook it its own heat.
