|4||Tablespoon||Coconut scraped (fresh)||Grind with rice|
|1||Tablespoon||Tamarind Pulp||Soak tamarind in water and extrat juice|
|1/2||Teaspoon||Jeera (Cumin Seeds)||Grind with rice|
|1/4||Teaspoon||Pepper Powder||Grind with rice|
|1/2||Teaspoon||Salt||to taste. Grind with rice|
|8-10||Small||Chillies Green||Cut in bits. Grind with rice|
Soak the rice and dal together over night and grind together with all of the other ingredients to make a thick Dosa batter, using water as needed.
Cover and let ferment in a warm place for 5-6 hrs. The batter should be ready, make the dosas on a hot tawa & serve with your favorite chutneys.
