Method
Roast the Masala: chillies, Chana dal, , half of the cinnamon and cloves. and a little urid dhal, in a little ghee. Add the scraped coconut, to the roasted masala and continue. Remove from fire, and grind it in a mixer, and grind it to a rough consistency without adding water. Use the coffee grinder attachment if preferred.
With some ghee, roast the soji separately, in a pan. Add double the amount of boiling water on the soji. Add salt to taste. Add the saffron powder When soji is cooked, add green peas if you wish, and cook them.
In some ghee, fry the roasted masala, then add it to the boiled soji. Let it simmer for 2 minutes. Add the lime juice of 2 limes.
