Sweet Mutton

Ingredients

Quantity Measure Ingredients Description:
400 Grams Mutton Cut and wash the meat
1 Small Coconut Copra For ground masala
1 Teaspoon Jeera (Cumin Seeds) For ground masala
1 Teaspoon Mustard Seed (Sarson) For ground masala
1 Tablespoon Coriander(Dhania) For ground masala
1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder For ground masala
1 Piece Liquorice (Mita lakdi) For ground masala
1 Tablespoon Plums For ground masala
2 Tablespoon Ghee For frying.
1 Medium Onion Sliced, for tempering
  As Required Salt to taste
1 Tablespoon Sugar, Table  

Method

Cut and wash the meat and boil it in a little water.
Grind the masala.
Heat ghee in a vessel, and fry the sliced onion.  Add the ground masala and stir fry till it turns brown.   Add masala water, used for washing the mixer.
Add the boiled mutton, and tits broth.
Allow it to thicken, and add salt to taste.   Simmer another five minutes, till you get a sufficiently thick curry.
