Method
Lightly fry the gram flour in ghee till it smells nice. Do not brown it. In another vessel make a sugar syrup with sugar and milk (or water). When it is thick, put it down and mix it into the flour. Return to heat and cook till it leaves the sides of the vessel. It should leave impression when lifted with a spoon and poured back into the vessel Add vanilla essence. Pour on a greased board( in a round shape and smoothly).and cut in oblong pieces.
