6 | Teacup | Vegetable White Stock | Cook rice in pressure cooker |
1 | Tablespoon | Ghee | for frying |
1 | Medium | Onion | sliced for temering |
A | Little | Salt | to taste |
Method
1. Wash the rice well, and hang it bundled in a muslin cloth to drain.
2. In a pressure cooker, heat 1 tablespoon ghee on a stove.
3. Brown the rice in it while siirring it so that it does not get burnt.
4. When the rice is brown, pour the vegetable stock close the pressure cooker and cook till rice is soft.
5. Temper with a little ghee, by frying one onion sliced.
6. Add salt to taste.
