Tamarind Sauce

Quantity Measure Ingredients Description:
1 Nos. Onion Grind the masala
2 Ball Tamarind Grind the masala
3 Medium Chillies Green Grind the masala
1 units Ginger (Adhrak) Grind the masala
1 Tablespoon Sugar, Table Grind the masala
A Few Mint Leaves (Pudina) Grind the masala
A Little Salt to taste
1 Tablespoon Ghee For frying
4 Flakes/Cloves Garlic (Lason, Losun) Crush and Fry
2 Teacup Water  


Grind the masala with the ingredients set aside above.  Make a paste in 2 cups of water, by using some water to grind, and the rest of it, to wash the grinder and boil for an hour.   Add  water to get the sauce consistency you want.   

In a sauce pan, put the ghee, and fry some crushed garlic, and then add the sauce.   This sauce is for temporary use.
