Plum Pudding

Quantity Measure Ingredients Description:
1 Teacup Bread Crumbs Soak in water
0.5 Teacup Flour, Maida - (Refined) Mix flour with moist bread
0.5 Teacup Milk For mixing bread and flour
6 Tablespoon Plums clean, wash and dry
6 Tablespoon Currants clean, wash and dry
6 Tablespoon Raisins Stone raisins and cut
50 Grams Candied Citron peel Cut into small slices
4 Nos. Eggs Add beaten eggs
0.5 Teacup Sugar, Table add
0.5 Teaspoon Nutmeg powder add
A Little Salt add
0.5 Teaspoon Cinnamon Powder add


In some water, soak broken bread or bread crumbs. When they are soggy, mash them well. 

Mix the flour with a little milk into a paste, then add the remaining milk and mashed bread or bread crumbs and blend. 

Clean the plums, and currants, wash and dry them. Stone the raisins, cut the candied peel into small thin slices. Coat all with dry flour and remove. Mix mashed bread, and flour mixture and plums etc. Add slightly beaten eggs, sugar and grated nutmeg and powdered cinnamon. When well mixed, pour in a buttered pudding dish, and bake or steam.
