Tomato Sauce 3

Quantity Measure Ingredients Description:
1 Tablespoon Ghee Warm the ghee.
200 Grams Tomatoes Slice them
2 Medium Onions Slice them
1 Piece Ginger (Adhrak) Slice them
  Few Mint Leaves (Pudina) Slice them
3 Teacup Water When brown pour water and boil
1 Tablespoon Flour, All Purpose Mix the flour in a little water
2 Teaspoon Sugar, Table Add
  As Required Salt to taste
3 Flakes/Cloves Garlic (Lason, Losun)  
1 Pinch Spice Powder  
1 Pinch Garam-Masala  
1 Pinch Pepper Powder  


Warm the ghee and put in to it, sliced tomatoes, onions, garlic, ginger, and mint leaves.  Stir frequently.   When brown, pour water and boil for half an hour.  Strain and boil the liquid again.  

Mix the flour in a little water and add to the sauce, stirring well.  Add sugar and salt to taste.   Simmer for five minutes.   

This sauce is for temporary use.   

Use spice powders to the sauce before use.
