Method
Soak the rice in water, overnight, and grind the next day with salt to taste. Pour ladle full of batter on a heated pan, and remove it when properly fried with a flat ladle. These pancakes will have small wholes on the surface.
They are called "pan pole" in Konkani.
Make a filling of scraped coconut, jaggery and cardamom powder. Place a spoonful in the middle of the pancake, and roll it and arrange it on a serving dish.
