French Beans Fugath

Ingredients

Quantity Measure Ingredients Description:
400 Grams French beans Wash and cut in half inch pieces
200 Grams Potatoes Pare and cut in cubes
200 Grams Tomatoes Wash and cut in cubes
1 Medium Onion Mince
2 Medium Chillies Green Mince
2 Tablespoon Ghee Heat ghee or cooking oil
1 Teaspoon Mustard Seed (Sarson) Fry the mustard seed for seasoning
1 Teaspoon Asafetida (Hing) Add for seasoning
  As Required Salt to taste

Method:

Wash beans, break them into half inch pieces, after removing the fiber from the sides.    Pare the potatoes and cut them into small cubes.  Wash the tomatoes and cut them also in small cubes.  

Cut the onions and chillies fine mince.  

Heat the ghee in the vessel you are going to use for cooking the beans.  First fry the mustard, and when it stops spluttering, add asafetida, stir and fry.   Then add all the beans, and minced masala and salt to taste, and cook in its own gravy.    I
