Method
A. Pick and wash currants,, stone the raisins and wash. Pour boiling water on almonds, peel and slice thin. Wipe dry, and dip in dry flour. Keep aside.
B. Sift the flour and the Rava. Keep aside.
C. Stir butter and sugar well. Beat the yolks and add to the butter-sugar mixture. Stirring well together.
D. Now add the flour-rava to the butter-sugar mixture, little at a time and stir, then put in the currants, almonds, etc.
E. Lastly the whites of the eggs beaten stiffly, mix all together with honey.
F. Line a baking tin with butter paper, and pour the cake mixture about three fourth of the tin. And bake in a moderate oven till it turns brown.
