Ingredients

Quantity Measure Ingredients Description:
3 Tablespoon Gelatin 1 packet
1 Teacup Water  
800 Grams Sugar, Table  
2 Nos. Lime (fresh) (Limbu) juice of 2 limes
1 Teaspoon Lemon Essence  
1 Tablespoon Castor Sugar  
1 Salt-Spoon Red Food Colour  

Method

Soak the gelatin in 1 teacup  of water, for 2 hours….   
Make a sugar syrup, with seven ounces of water, and boil it till it forms a syrup.  Let the syrup with 2 or 3 strings.  That is when the liquid is taken between the thumb and first finger and stretched, they form strings. Add the soaked gelatin and cook for two minutes.

To the gel, add the juice of 2 sour limes, and one teaspoon of lemon essence, and color.  

Pour on to a greased tray and keep overnight.   Sprinkle with castor sugar.
